From an early age, I have always been passionate about helping people. I began my working career in associated professions (auxiliary nurse and care assistant roles).
I embarked on my counselling career after I sought counselling myself when I was experiencing difficulties.
Engaging in the counselling process helped me identify the root causes of my problems and helped me make positive changes to my life.
The positive changes and self-development I gained lead me to become a qualified integrative counsellor.
I started and completed my training at Mind mental health charity and Women’s Aid. I dealt with a variety of different mental and physical health issues such as anxiety, depression, eating behaviour, relationships and chronic illness to name just a few.
Additionally, in Women’s Aid I also dealt with other issues such as trauma, physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. While working with these two organisations I was trained to work with adults and children.
I now operate my own private practice in the Hornchurch Essex area. Providing online counselling enables me to help and support clients in other areas of the UK.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I hold a clear enhanced DBS Certificate.
