Before having counselling I felt overwhelmed with worry and low mood, due to the pressures of work and other life stress. I learnt ways of coping thanks to Tracy. My anxiety is much better than it was and I feel better knowing that I have a toolkit to use if my anxiety decides to come and visit me again.
As a male I was reluctant to seek therapy around my weight issues as I felt embarrassed and ashamed of my size. I explained this to Tracy and for the first 3 sessions we talked by phone. Tracy was accommodating and helped me to open up. After I felt more at ease we switched to Zoom and I am glad we did as I personally feel this experience helped build my confidence. I have gained knowledge around myself and my issues and also tools to help me with unhelpful eating. Tracy helped me to come to terms with the loss of my mother which was something that had been eating away at me for years. I felt at times that I was not making any progress and that I was taking one step forward and several back again. But I now know it was worth sticking with my sessions, as I have gained so much from having counselling and even my relationships have got better as a result. I will be forever grateful.

I came across Tracy’s information by chance; I looked at it though curiosity. Tracy crept into my mind a few times, before I plucked up the courage to pick up the phone to call her. I explained that I felt lost and wasn’t sure who I was anymore. Counselling helped me discover me again and so much more. I was not able to fully resolve one issue but I have made an element of peace around that. Counselling also helped me with my self-esteem. I started a new job recently and life is feeling and looking better than it was before I started counselling .
I never had counselling before Tracy. I was really struggling with my eating habits. I had been on lots of different diets be nothing seem to work. I contacted Tracy and found her to be really friendly and helpful. Over time Tracy has helped me discover my reasons for my late visits to the cupboard as well as tools and skills to adopt new eating habits and healthier patterns of behaviour. At times it has been hard but worth it. I have even managed to lose weight in the middle of a pandemic and I feel I could not have done it without the help and support of Tracy.
Tracy saying thank you to you, somehow just does not seem enough. I had engaged in therapy before but for me it had not worked. Someone recommended Apple tree and the rest is history. I gained so much from your way of working and yes I know “we worked as a team” :), but I am not sure I would of made as much progress as I did without you.
