HOW I WORK
My role as your counsellor is not to diagnose you or tell you what to do. However, together we can work on ways in which you can better understand your difficulties, the possible root causes and find ways to bring about positive changes to your life.
In our work together you may discover unhelpful thinking or behavioural patterns in yourself that you would like to change. By working together we can find new ways of thinking and behaving, by adopting new strategies and learning helpful coping skills. As part of our work together, I may also suggest a treatment plan which can help you set goals for the future and help you stay focused and motivated.
My philosophy is that when you gain understanding it brings knowledge and with knowledge comes the power to make changes. I believe that you can make the changes if you have the right conditions in which to do so.
